SUMMARY:EarthKeepers Club (September 2025)
DESCRIPTION:The EarthKeepers Club is a space for youth (ages 11-17) to connect with others their age that have similar interests in the environment and conservation. An example of a typical day might look like a work project to remove invasive species in the morning\, followed by a discussion over lunch about what it means to be a good steward\, and wrapping up by catching and identifying dragonflies in the afternoon. Through this program\, we aim to make a tangible impact and have fun along the way! \nThe EarthKeepers Club currently has no cost to join and runs from April-October\, usually on the second Saturday of each month. We are able to offer 3 volunteer hours for high school students that participate in a program day. \nRegistration\nBook your ticket to let us know you’re coming! DESCRIPTION:Spend your upcoming PA Day at the new A Rocha Ontario Centre with us!\nAt this 1-day nature camp\, your child will have the opportunity to learn about and build a personal connection to the natural world. Each nature camp program will be filled with nature experiences\, science experiments\, storytelling\, nature-based art and fun games! Together\, we will explore nature from both familiar and new perspectives\, building friendships and fond memories along the way. \nThis event is open to children ages 5-13. \nSliding Scale Pricing\nWe believe in the value of our programs and we know you do too! That’s why we have introduced sliding scale pricing this year; we are happy to have you come at any rate you select. Instead of a fixed fee\, you can choose from one of three fee options when registering: \n\nSubsidized Rate: Choose this one if cost is a barrier to you attending. We are able to offer this option due to the generosity of our supporters\, including donors and grants.\nTrue-Value Rate: This is what we estimate to be a fair cost for the event. It helps us cover costs of staff\, materials\, and other fees associated with running the event.\nPay-It-Forward Rate: Choose this one if you want to invest in the future of A Rocha programming and help others be able to come at the subsidized rate.\n\nBy offering tiered pricing\, we aim to balance affordability with sustainability\, making our programs accessible while also providing participants with an opportunity to support their community.
