DESCRIPTION:Learn how animals survive the cold and how you can apply those principles to help you stay warm\, build a snow shelter and make fire starter for your survival kit. Activities will be both indoors at the Nature Centre and outdoors in the forest.  \nDate: Feb 17\, 2023 (this is a NID for School District 54\, Bulkley Valley) \nTwo Sessions \n1: Ages 5-8\, 9 am – 12 pm \n2. Ages 9-12\, 1 pm – 4 pm \nCost: $20/child  \nLocation: Buck Creek Canfor Hatchery & Nature Centre \nMaximum: 10 children per session \nInstruction: Dress for the weather (we will be outside for a good portion of the morning). Bring your own snack and water bottle.
