DESCRIPTION:First up in our Knowing Nature speaker series is Curt Gesch on Tuesday\, January 17 at 7pm. Curt (or more likely known as Mr. Gesch to his former students!) will be presenting a slideshow about making your yard attractive to wildlife. Please join us at the Buck Creek Hatchery and Nature Centre in Houston\, BC. \nFrom January to June\, we’ve invited local community members monthly to share their northern adventures and expertise in an evening presentation (with refreshments!). From scientists working on the watershed to organizations doing restoration work to local individuals who have a certain knowledge in an area of interest including such as salmon\, birds of the Bulkley Valley\, or edible and medicinal plants.
