DESCRIPTION:Learn with us about water management in a permaculture ecosystem!Permaculture is “the conscious design and maintenance of agriculturally productive ecosystems which have the diversity\, stability\, and resilience of natural ecosystems” (permaculturenews.org). Permaculture takes significant wisdom and inspiration from traditional Indigenous farming practices around the world. \nThe Metanoia Farmers Worker Cooperative (also known as the CMU Farm) is making a big transition to permaculture\, and you’re invited to come along for the journey and learn with them and with us! \nDuring this workshop we will discuss water management in a permaculture system\, and then work together to dig a swale (ditch and hill that conserve water) \nCome prepared to learn and work.
