DESCRIPTION:Consider the Lilies Collective\nMarch 15\, 2025 – 9:00 am – 12:00 pm\nLocation: All Saint’s Anglican Church/st. benedict’s table \n521 Broadway Ave\nWhile the full conference goes on the road\, we want to continue equipping and connecting you in your work to care for creation with your church. \nJoin the A Rocha community for a morning of practical workshops and worship engaging our head\, hands\, and hearts for creation care. Snacks and coffee/tea will be provided.\nParking available in the lots behind Canada Life on Colony St. \nSession #1: Talking Climate & Creation Care at your Church\nwith Sandy Plett & Aaron Thiessen\nHow do you talk about creation care and climate change in a church context? How might we talk to the children and youth in our communities about this topic? What are some theological considerations? This workshop will tackle these questions about engaging minds on creation care. \nSession #2: Taking Action with Hands-on Projects\nwith Beth Downey Sawatsky\, Peter Sawatsky\, Benjamin Verkerk & Francesco Zurzolo\nSometimes the easiest way to start caring for creation is to do a hands-on project.
