SUMMARY:Summer Hike Series - Assiniboine Forest + Gelato (Winnipeg\, MB)
DESCRIPTION:Join us at Assiniboine Forest for a hike in one of the largest urban forests in Canada! The Assiniboine forest is home to a great variety of birds\, animals\, and plants. As we walk we will learn how to identify some of these plants and animals. \nCome explore the unique beauty and wonder located in the forest and enjoy some gelato at Folio Cafe with friends new and old. \nMeet outside Folio Cafe at 7:00 pm\, hike begins at 7:15. Afterwards we’ll return to Folio cafe for gelato and iced drinks at 8:30 pm. \nWe will hike rain or shine\, so dress for the weather! Bring $5 for gelato. \nPlease RSVP to zoe.matties@arocha.ca

DESCRIPTION:Join us for a week of exploration July 15-19!\nWe are partnering with Metanoia Farmers at Canadian Mennonite University to offer a week of Farm and Forest experience for kids! Children will discover new life up close in the farmyard and learn wilderness skills in the Assiniboine Forest next door. Kids can look forward to music\, games\, cooking and hands-on outdoor activities. \nCamp runs from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm daily. \n\nKids ages 8-13 welcome\nCome dressed to be outside for the day.\nBring your own lunch\, water bottle\, sunscreen and hat.\nYummy snacks provided!\n\n$125 per camper\, $100 per additional camper in a family. \n \nPowered by Eventbrite\nFor more info email zoe.matties@arocha.ca
