SUMMARY:Discovery Day at the Boreal Ecology Centre (Manitoba)
DESCRIPTION:At the edge of the Boreal Forest we are launching an environmental and retreat centre: a living lab composed of 220 acres of forests\, meadow and river valley. Come experience the warmth and wildness of creation at the Boreal Ecology Centre. \nSchedule: \nJuly 14th optional overnight with early morning birdwalk (see below) \nJuly 15th Day Time \n10-12 am – Outdoor activities and Kids activities\n12-1 pm – Lunch (Please bring a $5 donation)\n1:30 pm – Tour\n2-3 pm – Volunteer planting around the Lodge\n3-4 pm – Outdoor activities\n4 pm – Depart \nDirections to get to the Centre: Here\nOptional overnight available!\nLet us know if you’d like to spend a night at the lodge. June 14-15. We will have an experienced guide who will take us on an evening owling adventure and an early morning bird walk; the best time to see all those birds who have come home for the season!\nCost: $30 (evening snack\, breakfast and lunch provided).
