SUMMARY:Farm Life Summer Day Camp 1 (Surrey\, BC)
DESCRIPTION:Enter into the daily hands-on rhythms of life on a farm: growing food and caring for animals\, as well as the ecosystems around us!\nJoin us for our Farm Life Day Camp! We will spend every day outdoors\, participating in all the daily farm and field activities around A Rocha’s Brooksdale Environmental Centre. Enjoy hands-on activities and discover connections to life in our ecosystems! \nNote: Camp 1 may have a different rhythm from Camp 2\, depending on the seasonal work that needs to be done. You can sign up for both camps if you feel this unique experience would be beneficial and enjoyable for your child.  \n\nFor children ages 6 – 12 (finished kindergarten).\nCamp runs from 9am to 3pm.\nCome dressed for an active day outside (rain or shine). Wear gear for the weather: hats\, boots and sun/rain protection. (No umbrellas\, please)\nBring extra set of clothing and socks.\nBring your own snacks (both morning and afternoon)\, lunch & water bottle.\nBring hand sanitizer and mask. We’ll use masks for activities where we’re in close proximity to one another. *(following the most current BC protocols)\n\nHow to Register \nRegistration is a 3-step process: \n1. Sign up\, and make payment through Eventbrite. If you would like financial assistance-  \nContact us for more information. \n2. Download and complete the A ROCHA Day Camp Registration Form and Parent Information & Agreement Form. (Note: You don’t have to submit the forms if your child has attended one of our 2021 programs\, unless info has changed.) \n3.  Return forms by 7 days prior to the day you registered for. Please email them to canada.kids@arocha.ca \nIMPORTANT: Your registration is NOT considered complete until we have received our A Rocha registration forms containing medical information and Consent waiver.  \nCANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS:  If a program is cancelled due to Covid-19 provincial health requirements\, all A Rocha camp fees will be fully refunded.    \nFamilies withdrawing with more than one week’s notice will be refunded full registration cost minus the Eventbrite administrative fee. If it is within the week prior to the program\, $50 will be non-refundable\, and the rest depending on if the spot is filled. \nThank you so much for your support and we look forward to seeing your child/children at our Summer Day Camp! \n— \nA Rocha is a Christian environmental stewardship organization and our camp will include short reflections on Creation Care.
