DESCRIPTION:Nature Journaling Weekend Retreat at Camp Caledonia on Tyhee Lake\nGive yourself the gift of time\, creativity and curiosity!\n\n\nJoin us for a weekend adventure through the world of nature journaling at the beautiful Camp Caledonia on Tyhee Lake in Telkwa\, BC. Learn new skills\, meet new friends and connect with the natural world in a way that is both creative and scientific. No experience necessary. All you need is your 5 senses and the willingness to try!\n\n\nWhat to expect:\nDevelop your observation skills\, explore nature journaling techniques including sketching\, adding color\, playing with words\, and finding numbers in nature. See the world in a whole new way and be inspired by curiosity and wonder.\n\n\nStarting June 13 @ 5 pm\nEnding June 15 @ 1pm\n\n\nCost includes: Meals\, accommodations\, instructional sessions\, yoga and supplies.\n\n\nLocation: Camp Caledonia (affectionately known as “Camp Cal”)\, is a multi-use facility located on the edge of beautiful Tyhee Lake. The camp is located on the Telkwa High Road between Telkwa and Smithers\, in northern British Columbia.\n\n\nYou will have your choice of accommodations including: Shared cabin\, private room in main building\, shared room in main building or bring your own tent or trailer.\n\nSessions include:\n\nNature Journaling tips and tricks\nWooing the Natural World with Words: Powerful tools to capture and share special moments in nature with local writer\, Jamie Bastedo\nNature Sketching with Pencil and Pen with local artist\, Shannon Goodhead\nAdding life to your Journaling with Watercolor with local artist\, Jill Dunbar\nYoga for mindfulness and connection with local yoga instructor Phillipa Beck\nLearning to observe like a naturalist with local nature educator\, Cindy Verbeek\n\nClick here to meet the workshop leaders and get a sneak peek at what each workshop will cover.\n\nOnly 12 spots available.
