DESCRIPTION:In light of COVID-19\, we are taking extra precautions to maintain physical distancing\, provide hand washing/sanitizing stations\, and cancelling our communal lunch. Please stay at home if you have had symptoms or traveled\, or have been in contact with someone with symptoms or who has traveled in the last 14 days. Note: you will be asked to fill in a COVID consent form upon arrival. \nCome care for creation at our Brooksdale Environmental Centre! Catch a taste of A Rocha as you lend a hand alongside the team in our garden\, habitat restoration projects\, heritage site and grounds and more. \nWear weather-appropriate clothing for working outside\, and bring gloves if you have them. Bring your own picnic lunch if you are staying for the site tour. \nSchedule:\n9:30 am – Meet at the site map next to the Farm & Gift Shop\n12:30 pm – Bring your own picnic lunch (OPTIONAL)\n1:15 pm – Site Tour (OPTIONAL) \nRSVP\nVolunteer Days fill up fast\, so please RSVP to make sure you get a spot!

DESCRIPTION:Join us for an exploration of our ecosystem in spring!\nExperience the thrill of searching for different kinds of life in our local wetland and forest areas. \n\nChildren grades K – 7 \nCamp runs from 9am to 3pm.\nCome dressed for an active day outside (rain or shine). Wear warm clothes\, layers\, gloves\, hat\, boots and rain gear!\nBring your own snacks (morning and afternoon)\, lunch & water bottle.\nMake sure you bring a mask. We want to keep everyone safe!\n\nHow to Register \nRegistration is a 3-step process: \n1. Sign up\, and make payment through Eventbrite.  \n2. Download and complete the Day Camp Registration Form and Parent Information & Agreement Form. \n3.  Return forms by 7 days prior to the day you registered for. Please email them to canada.kids@arocha.ca \nIMPORTANT: Your registration is NOT considered complete until we have received the registration forms containing medical information and Consent waiver.  \nCANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS:  If a camp is cancelled due to Covid-19 provincial health requirements\, all camp fees will be fully refunded to affected families.    \nFamilies withdrawing with more than one week’s notice will be refunded full registration cost minus the Eventbrite administrative fee. DESCRIPTION:Join A Rocha’s Brooksdale conservation team for a morning of habitat restoration and enhancement.\nGet your hands dirty planting native trees and shrubs\, removing invasive vegetation (such as Himalayan blackberry or English Ivy) and much more. \nThe team will meet at Brooksdale Environmental Centre (1620 192 St – Surrey\, BC) and will travel to the restoration site from there.
