DESCRIPTION:A 2-night and 2 full days retreat designed to help you connect with God\, self and creation through prayer and artistic expression. \n\n\nYour stay will include: a private or shared room (if you designate a room-mate)\, all meals\, teaching times and time for artistic exploration using drawing\, collage\, watercolour and poetry. Your time will also include morning\, mid-day and evening prayers\, optional spiritual direction\, access to A Rocha’s nature trails\, gardens and heritage guesthouse. \n\n\nYour facilitators: Leah Kostamo & Anne Smith \nLeah and Anne are both trained spiritual directors and will be on hand if you’re looking for ideas on how to use your time or would like to reflect on what you’re experiencing. \nPlease note: \n– All rooms have shared washrooms \n– Double occupancy is only available for those who indicate a roommate (we are not able to pair up individuals). \nCurious to find out more? \nYou can contact Leah directly at leah.kostamo@arocha.ca \nSpace is limited. Join our conservation team for a morning of hands-on habitat restoration work. \nOur efforts are focused on removing invasive vegetation and replanting native species. Projects are conducted at the A Rocha Canada Brooksdale Centre as well as off site in the surrounding watershed. \nCome prepared for the weather with rain gear and boots to get muddy in. Or if the sun is shining bring hats and sun glasses. Working gloves\, shovels\, clippers and other equipment will be provided. \nWe meet at 9:30 am in the parking lot at the A Rocha Brooksdale Centre in front of the kiosk.
