DESCRIPTION:Another year\, another thrilling bird count! Meet us at A Rocha’s Brooksdale site at 8am\, ready to divide into teams and go out to the various locations. We’ll return to Brooksdale for lunch together and to tally up the total species for the day.  Experienced and non-experienced birders welcome! Please bring your own packed lunch. We will supply checklists\, bird books and binoculars if you don’t have your own. \nThe areas covered by the count are: \n1. Campbell Valley Park\, 16th Ave.\, Langley \n2. DESCRIPTION:Join A Rocha’s Brooksdale conservation team for a morning of habitat restoration and enhancement.\nGet your hands dirty planting native trees and shrubs\, removing exotic invasive vegetation (such as Himalayan blackberry or English Ivy)\, building fences to keep livestock away from watercourses\, creating new wetlands and much more. \nThe team will meet at Brooksdale Environmental Centre (1620 192 St – Surrey\, BC) and will travel to the restoration site from there. All ages welcome to participate!
